Every established recruitment organisation has a range of various technologies implemented for different purposes. Each of these were probably selected in isolation and some may be many years (and versions) old. People can sometimes be resistant to change and often, clients simply default to what is familiar. This carries a risk of missing out on the benefits that can be achieved when new technologies are deployed, especially if various platforms fully integrate seamlessly with each other.
